The Microsoft Optical Mouse can not wake up and sometimes can not be detected by computer system when hot plug in.The new technology optical & laser mouse consume more power than the legacy ones, which made the PS/2 device malfunction under some critical conditions.Change the Pull-up resistors (R1 & R3) from 4.7K ohm to 1.5K ohm, to provide enough current for PS/2 device.

The CSC0101A supports two hot-pluggable and hot-swappable PS/2 ports with either port can accept mouse or keyboard. It is ideal for the legacy system support, enabling seamless connections of traditional PS/2 interfaces devices of mouse and keyboard to USB.The CSC0101A is a USB 1.1 low-speed compliant device that interfaces to PS/2, it support the Human Interface Device (HID) class specification.
